Suhas-Sharfu are an Indian screenwriter duo who work in Malayalam cinema. They have written six films, starting with Varathan in 2018. Both were engineers before they began writing for films and they met through the short-film network and social media. Suhas comes from Thripunithura and Sharfu from Kozhikode.

They worked as assistant director and associate director on the 2018 film Sudani From Nigeria. Through producer Sameer Thahir they met Amal Neerad. Varathan was made after they approached Amal Neerad with a different script. Varathan was well received, with praise for the screenplay that explores themes like misogyny, voyeurism, paranoia, and drama.

After Varathan, director Aashiq Abu invited them to co-write Virus with Muhsin Parari. Virus is set during the Nipah virus outbreak in Kerala (2018) and earned critical acclaim and box-office success.

In March 2020, Suhas and Sharfu joined as co-writers for Karthick Naren’s Tamil film Maaran, starring Dhanush. Maaran released on 11 March 2022 to mixed reviews.

Their next release was Puzhu, starring Mammootty and Parvathy Thiruvothu. Directed by Ratheena PT from a story by Harshad (the writer of Unda), Suhas and Sharfu co-wrote the screenplay with Harshad. Puzhu was released directly on streaming and received critical acclaim.

In 2022 they released Dear Friend, directed by Vineeth Kumar and starring Tovino Thomas. Sharfu and Suhas also worked with actor Arjun Lal in his first screenwriting role for this film. The movie was not a box-office success, but critics praised its unusual theme and fresh storytelling.

Sharfu is also a lyricist. He began by writing the song Thonnal for a 2021 music video and has since written songs for Madhuram, Jana Gana Mana, Adi, Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham, and Jackson Bazaar Youth.
