Chelcie Ross
Chelcie Claude Ross (born June 20, 1942, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) is an American character actor. His film credits include Above the Law, Major League, Basic Instinct, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, Hoosiers, Rudy, Trouble with the Curve, and The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. He was raised in Pemberton Township, New Jersey, and graduated from Pemberton Township High School in 1960. He played baseball at Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University). Ross served as an officer in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and earned a Bronze Star, leaving the service in 1970. He earned an MFA from the Dallas Theater Center. His acting career spans from 1976 to 2023. In 2008, he played Beverly Weston in the National Theatre production of August: Osage County.
