People Who Love Peepholes
"People Who Love Peepholes" is the second episode of season 9 of Two and a Half Men, and the second part of the season’s two‑part premiere. It aired on September 26, 2011.
In this episode, Walden buys the Harper beach house and asks Berta to stay as his live‑in housekeeper. Alan moves back in with his mother Evelyn, which makes him uncomfortable because she treats him like a kid. Walden’s estranged wife Bridget shows up and things get chaotic. A wild night leads to Alan and Walden being shocked by electricity when they try to break into Walden’s gate, and they wake up the next morning drunk and naked in Malibu.
Penelope, a girl looking for Charlie, appears, and Bridget later stops by. To save Walden, Alan pretends Penelope is Walden’s girlfriend. Bridget apologizes and says she’ll give Walden another chance if he proves himself. Alan asks to move back into the beach house, and Walden agrees, though Alan plans to stay only until he finds a real place.
This episode features Judy Greer as Bridget, marking her third appearance on the show. It drew about 20.5 million viewers in its original broadcast, and was the last episode to use the original “Manly Men” theme song. DVR viewership brought the total to around 24 million.
