Sudheesh (born 7 December 1972 in Kozhikode, Kerala) is an Indian actor and director who works mainly in Malayalam cinema. He won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Character Actor in 2021. He is the son of T. Sudhakaran Nair, a retired deputy collector and actor, and Suryaprabha. The father and son have acted together in several films. Sudheesh’s son Rudraksh acted as a child hero in Kochavva Paulo Ayyappa Coelho (2016). He studied at St. Joseph's Boys' High School, Kozhikode, and St. Joseph's College, Devagiri. He married Dhanya on 30 March 2005 and they have two sons. His father died on 4 January 2016 at age 73.
