The Winding Trail is a 1918 American silent Western directed by John H. Collins. It stars Viola Dana, Clifford Bruce, and Hayward Mack. The screenplay was adapted by H. P. Keeler from a story by Katharine Kavanaugh and June Mathis. It was produced by B. A. Rolfe, with cinematography by John Arnold. The film was made by Metro Pictures and Yorke Film Corp. It was released in the United States on January 14, 1918, and runs five reels. It is a silent film with English intertitles. The working title during production was The Tiger Cat.
