Josimo Morais Tavares (1953–May 10, 1986) was a Brazilian Catholic priest and coordinator of the Pastoral Land Commission (Comissão Pastoral da Terra). Born in Marabá, he worked to defend the rights of rural workers. He was killed by ranchers in an area that is now part of Tocantins, Brazil, because of his support for land rights.
