Sudha Shah, born 22 June 1958 in Kannur, India, is a former Indian cricketer who played as a right-handed batter and right-arm off-break bowler. She represented India from 1976 to 1991, including India’s first women’s Test match in 1976. Her Test debut was on 31 October 1976 against the West Indies, and her last Test was on 9 February 1991 against Australia. She made her ODI debut on 5 January 1978 against New Zealand and played her last ODI on 27 July 1986 against England. In total, she played 21 Tests and 13 ODIs for India. She scored 601 runs in Tests (average 18.78) with a top score of 62 not out, and 293 runs in ODIs (average 24.41) with a top score of 53. As a part-time bowler, she took 5 wickets in Tests (best 3/28) and 2 in ODIs (best 1/7). She also took 21 catches in Tests and 2 in ODIs. Domestically, she played for Tamil Nadu and the South Zone. In 2018 she received the BCCI Lifetime Achievement Award for her contributions to Indian cricket.
