Stevie Woods (football coach)
Stevie Woods, whose full name is Stephen Gerard Woods, is a Scottish football coach and former goalkeeper born on 23 February 1970 in Glasgow. As a player, he was a goalkeeper for Clydebank, Preston North End, Motherwell, and St Mirren, after coming through Hibernian as a youth. He made a total of 229 league appearances before retiring in 2005. After retiring, he worked as a goalkeeping coach for Livingston and Dunfermline Athletic. He joined Celtic in 2007 as a full-time goalkeeping coach, a position he still holds. In March 2018, Alex McLeish appointed him as an assistant coach for the Scotland national team, a role he held until August 2021 when Chris Woods succeeded him.
