1978 European Badminton Championships

1978 European Badminton Championships were the 6th edition of the event. They took place in Preston, England, from 13 to 15 April, at Guild Hall. The tournament was hosted by the European Badminton Union and Badminton England. In a singles match, Kevin Jolly of England was disqualified after protesting a line judge's decision and not playing in a sporting manner against Jesper Helledie. The host nation was England.
