Steppin' Out (Cleopatra album)
Steppin' Out is the second studio album by British girl group Cleopatra. It was released in Japan on 21 June 2000 by Warner Music Japan and worldwide on 22 August 2000, with Maverick Records handling the U.S. release.
After the success of their debut Comin’ Atcha! and the U.S. attention from Cleopatra’s Theme, the group moved toward an R&B sound for this album. Cleo Higgins wrote most of the songs, with her bandmates also credited as co-writers. The project featured production from Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Dallas Austin, Stargate, and Cutfather & Joe, among others. Recording took place across the United States, the United Kingdom, Norway, and Denmark. The artwork was shot by Markus and Indrani.
