Ed Berrang
Ed Berrang was an American football defensive end in the NFL. Born October 14, 1922, in New Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighed 206 pounds. He played college football at Villanova and was drafted in 1949 in the fifth round (48th overall) by the Washington Redskins. Berrang played for the Redskins (1949–1951, 1952), the Detroit Lions (1951), and the Green Bay Packers (1952). His NFL career included 3 interceptions, 10 fumble recoveries, and 2 receptions for 19 yards. He passed away July 3, 1992, in Bethesda, Maryland.
