Stephen Headley

Stephen Headley is a Barbadian track and field sprinter who competes mainly in the 100 metres and 200 metres. Born on January 24, 1988, in Pennsylvania, he has a personal best of 10.33 seconds in the 100m and 21.10 seconds in the 200m.

Headley represented Barbados at the Commonwealth Games in 2010 and 2018. In Delhi 2010, he reached the 100m semi-finals, running 10.67 seconds in the semi-final after posting 10.56 in his heat and 10.40 in the second round. He did not advance to the final. He did not compete in the 2014 Glasgow Games, when Barbados’ 100m squad was limited to Ramon Gittens.

In 2018 at the Gold Coast Games, Headley again ran the 100m, finishing 4th in his heat with 10.70 seconds and did not advance. He also ran for Barbados in the 4x100m relay with Shane Brathwaite, Nicholas Deshong and Burkheart Ellis Jr. The relay team qualified for the final as a fastest loser with 38.95 seconds (season best) but finished 5th in 39.04 and did not medal.
