St. Mary’s Hospital was a psychiatric hospital in Castlebar, County Mayo, Ireland. It was designed by architect George Wilkinson and opened in 1866 as Castlebar Asylum. The building was extended in the late 1890s.

In the 1920s it became Castlebar Mental Hospital, and in the 1950s it was renamed St. Mary’s Hospital. In May 1981, a new Industrial Therapy Unit was officially opened.

From the late 1980s, as part of deinstitutionalisation, the hospital declined and eventually closed in 2006. The building had already been repurposed in 1994 as the Mayo Campus of the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology.
