The History Student
The History Student is a 2015 Irish-Polish film directed by Graham Jones. It follows a seven-year-old boy from Dublin who spends a rural summer in his mother’s homeland, Poland, and is told to speak only Polish. When he asks where aliens fit into nature, memories of his mother’s own childhood are stirred. The film stars Aidan Jones and Kasia Wisniewska. It runs 70 minutes and is in Polish. It was released on May 9, 2015.
