2025–26 Los Angeles Clippers season

The Clippers’ 56th NBA season, their 48th in Southern California, and their second in Inglewood at the Intuit Dome. Head coach Tyronn Lue, general manager Trent Redden, and owner Steve Ballmer. They finished with a 23–25 record (0.479), placing 4th in the Pacific Division and 9th in the Western Conference.

Offseason changes brought big names to the roster. The Clippers added Brook Lopez, Bradley Beal, and reunited Chris Paul for his 21st season, while keeping Kawhi Leonard, James Harden, and Nicolas Batum. The average age rose to 33.2 years, making this the oldest team in NBA history. Norman Powell was traded to Miami for John Collins to help the frontcourt.

In September 2025, a report about a potential salary-cap circumvention involving owner Steve Ballmer and the Aspiration company sparked a league investigation that lasted throughout the season.

On the court, the team struggled. They opened 5–16 in their first 21 games and went 2–13 in November, the worst month in Clippers history. Beal appeared in 10 games before suffering a season-ending fracture to his hip on November 8. Derrick Jones Jr. was out at least six weeks with a sprained MCL after an injury on November 17. Bogdan Bogdanović missed time with a left hip contusion, while Lopez and Paul slipped out of the rotation. Collins moved into the starting lineup as injuries mounted, and losses to the Heat fueled questions about Beal’s fit with the team.

On December 3, Chris Paul was released by the Clippers and sent home during a road trip, a controversial move. After a 6–21 start, the Clippers surged, winning 16 of 19, and improved to 22–24.

Draft notes: The Clippers entered the draft with a single first-round pick from a swap with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Their original second-round pick had been traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, who later dealt it to the Utah Jazz as part of the Luka Dončić–Anthony Davis trade.

Roster updates were tracked through November 17, 2025.
