Spodnje Stranje is a small settlement in northern Slovenia. It sits on the right bank of the Kamnik Bistrica River, in the Municipality of Kamnik. It is part of the Upper Carniola traditional region and the Central Slovenia statistical region. The area of Spodnje Stranje is 0.47 square kilometers, and it is about 425 meters above sea level. In 2002, 209 people lived there. The village is also known by its German name Unterstreine.
