Harker Creek (Wisconsin)

Harker Creek is a small stream in Iowa County, Wisconsin. It starts about 10 kilometers west-northwest of Dodgeville and runs roughly north to south for about 7.5 kilometers (4.7 miles). It flows into Flint Creek at its northern end, at an elevation of about 248 meters (814 feet) above sea level. The lower part of the creek runs near Mount Hope Road and Berg Road. Lee Creek joins Harker Creek at roughly 255 meters (838 feet) elevation. The upper part sits among steep hills rising up to about 30 meters above the creek, with the highest point near 390 meters (1,280 feet) above sea level. The southern end of the creek is close to U.S. Route 18. The average discharge is about 2.5 cubic feet per second (0.071 cubic meters per second).
