Sony Alpha 580
The Sony Alpha 580 (DSLR-A580) is a midrange DSLR released in August 2010, designed for photography enthusiasts. It packs a 16.2-megapixel APS-C Exmor CMOS sensor and uses Sony’s SteadyShot INSIDE image stabilization, which works with any attached lens. The sensor can save images in five different file formats. To combat dust, it has an anti-static coating on the sensor and a dust-reduction system that shakes the sensor automatically when you turn the camera off. There’s also a manual cleaning mode that shakes the sensor, lifts the mirror, and opens the shutter so you can clean the sensor with a blower. The LCD screen is movable for easier viewing from different angles.
