Snipp is a village in Jörns parish, Skellefteå Municipality, Västerbotten County, Sweden. The population has dwindled over the years, and there are no permanent residents since the early 2000s. The name comes from a 19th‑century surveyor who used the rhyme Snipp, snapp, snorum, hej basalorum. Nearby villages with similar names are Snapp, Snorum, Hej, and Basalorum.
