Marroc
Marroc is a popular Argentinian chocolate bar made with chocolate and peanut butter. It is mainly produced by the Felfort company.
Its origin goes back to 1927, when Moroccan immigrants Hossam Maissar and his wife Malika moved to Argentina with the ingredients. Felipe Fort, who was already working with chocolate, learned their recipe and created the layered praline bar. It has become a classic of Argentine sweets, and today other companies also make Marroc, not just Felfort.
