Stephen Holt (born December 6, 1991) is an American-Filipino professional basketball player for Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). He is a 6-foot-4 guard who can play both shooting guard and point guard.

Early life and college
Holt grew up in Portland, Oregon, and attended Jesuit High School in Beaverton, where he earned state player of the year honors as a junior and senior. He played college basketball at Saint Mary’s College of California from 2010 to 2014, earning multiple All-WCC honors and finishing his Saint Mary’s career with strong scoring, steals and minutes records.

Professional career
After going undrafted in 2014, Holt played in the NBA Summer League with the Atlanta Hawks, briefly joined a German team, and then spent time with the Canton Charge in the NBA Development League. He built a globe-trotting pro career, including Melbourne United in Australia (2015–16), where he earned All-NBL Second Team honors and helped the team to a strong season. He also played for MoraBanc Andorra, Tecnyconta Zaragoza and ČEZ Nymburk, then Brisbane Bullets, Stal Ostrów Wielkopolski, Astana, and Koper Primorska. From 2020 to 2023 he was with CSM U Oradea in Romania, and in 2023 he joined Terrafirma Dyip in the PBA as the first overall pick. In 2024 he was traded to Barangay Ginebra San Miguel, and in 2025 he signed a three-year extension with Ginebra.

National eligibility
Holt gained Philippine citizenship in June 2023, allowing him to play in the PBA as a local player.

Personal life
As of the 2024–25 season, Holt is married and has a child. His father, Greg, is American, and his mother, Jackie, is Filipino. His father played college basketball at the University of Portland, and his sister played college soccer at Saint Mary’s.

Holt’s career includes PBA Rookie of the Year (2024); PBA All-Rookie Team (2024); PBA Second Mythical Team (2024, 2025); PBA All-Defensive Team (2025); Czech League champion (2017); All-NBL Second Team (2016); First-team All-WCC (2014); WCC All-Freshman Team (2011).
