Skyline was an Australian Thoroughbred racehorse and one of the best three-year-olds of his era. He was a dark bay or brown stallion born in 1955, sired by Star Kingdom out of Flight's Daughter, and he was the older brother of Sky High. Trained by Jack Green, Skyline won three major races in 1958—the Golden Slipper Stakes, the Hill Stakes, and the AJC Derby, which he won in a fast time of 2:28.8. A severe stable accident ended his peak days, but he recovered and later retired to stud. In 28 starts he recorded 5 wins. As a sire, he produced only a few foals, including Sky Sailor, who won 11 races.
