Siu yeh
Siu yeh is a late-night snack or meal in southern China, especially in Hong Kong. The Chinese term 宵夜 means “night snack.” In Cantonese it’s pronounced siu yeh. It’s usually eaten after dinner and is served in small portions, often at snack shops. Siu yeh is popular with people who work late hours as a post-midnight meal.
