Siri Tollerød
Siri Tollerød is a Norwegian model, born on August 18, 1987, in Kristiansand, Norway. She was discovered by scout Donna Ioanna while shopping at a mall in Sørlandssenteret. She spent a short time in Milan in 2006 to try modeling, then went back home to finish high school. After graduating, she signed with Trump Models and was asked to shoot for Vogue Italia. She moved to New York City in April 2007 to pursue modeling full-time.
In her first year, she appeared in a DKNY campaign, opened and closed the spring D&G shows, graced the cover of the magazine 10, and shot Prada Sport with Steven Meisel. In October 2009 she switched agencies to DNA Model Management. She has worked with famous photographers like Steven Meisel, Karl Lagerfeld, Steven Klein and Ellen von Unwerth.
Her magazine covers include various editions of Vogue, French Revue de Modes, Elle and more. She has editorials in Dazed & Confused, Numéro, V, Harper’s Bazaar, W, Allure, Elle and other Vogue editions. She has modeled for Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Lacroix, Louis Vuitton, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Dior and Prada. She is a favorite of Karl Lagerfeld and has often walked Chanel shows, opening both the Fall 2008 ready-to-wear and Pre-Fall 2008 shows.
Her advertising campaigns include Barneys New York, Bergdorf Goodman, DKNY, GAP, John Galliano, Max Mara, Miu Miu, Prada, Sportmax, Valentino and White House Black Market. She was the face of Valentino’s Rock ‘n Dreams fragrance and Gwen Stefani’s Harajuku Lovers fragrance. In Brazil she appeared in Victor Hugo campaigns.
Siri also starred in a fashion film called “Matchstick Girl,” which premiered in New York at Soho House on April 14, 2011. She has worked with many models and designers to raise awareness for the Environmental Justice Foundation.
