Sinocyclocheilus robustus
Sinocyclocheilus robustus is an Asian freshwater fish. It is a ray-finned fish in the genus Sinocyclocheilus, part of the Cyprinidae family. It lives in China and is benthopelagic, meaning it moves near the bottom as well as in the water just above the bottom. Scientific classification: Kingdom Animalia; Phylum Chordata; Class Actinopterygii; Order Cypriniformes; Family Cyprinidae; Subfamily Cyprininae; Genus Sinocyclocheilus; Species S. robustus. The binomial name is Sinocyclocheilus robustus, described by J. X. Chen and Z. F. Zhao in 1988.
