Coulanges-la-Vineuse is a small commune in the Yonne department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region of north-central France. It covers about 110.6 square kilometers and had 783 residents in 2023. The land sits between 115 and 292 meters above sea level. The area is best known for its wines, especially red and rosé, mainly made from Pinot Noir, with some Gamay and Cesar. The wines are labeled Bourgogne Coulanges-la-Vineuse rather than having their own Village Appellation. Administratively, it belongs to the Auxerre arrondissement and the Vincelles canton, and is part of the CA Auxerrois intercommunality. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Odile Maltoff.
