Simon Bowyer
Simon Bowyer (c. 1550–1606) was an English politician and court servant. He served as a Member of Parliament for Great Bedwyn in 1572 and was a gentleman usher at the Elizabethan court. In 1577 he was appointed keeper of St Andrew's Castle at Hamble, a coastal fort, with orders to employ a porter, a master gunner, and six soldiers or gunners. Bowyer sat in the fourth Parliament of Elizabeth I, which ran from 8 May 1572 to 18 April 1583.
