Sim Viva (born Simone Poncelet, January 12, 1903 – August 10, 1982) was a Belgian soprano singer and actress who found fame in operetta and films during the 1920s and 1930s. She made recordings for Ultraphone, Pathé, and Odeon. She was born in Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, Belgium, and later moved to Paris. By 1922 she was performing at Le Trianon in Paris, singing in revivals of Planquette's Le Paradis de Mahomet and Terrasse's Cartouche, and she returned in 1923 to appear in Sylvie. Her career included many roles in operetta and musical theatre, and she also acted in films. She was married to Géo Bury. Sim Viva died in Paris at the age of 79.
