Sheikh Ijaz Nisar
Sheikh Ijaz Nisar (born 15 June 1935) is a retired Pakistani judge and former caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab. He led Punjab from 19 November 2007 to 11 April 2008. Earlier, he served as a judge of the Lahore High Court from 1983 to 1997, then as its Chief Justice from 1996 to 1997. He was a judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan from 1997 to 2000. He is the chairman of the Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust. Born in Sahiwal, Punjab, he studied at the University of the Punjab and Government College Sahiwal.
