Shalu Susan Kurian is an Indian actress who mainly works in Malayalam television serials. She is best known for playing Varsha in Chandanamazha, a series on Asianet. She made her film debut in Jubilee (2008) and later acted in TV serials such as Swami Ayyappan, Nizhalkkannadi, Kadamattathachan and Snehakoodu. She has appeared on TV shows like Tamaar Padaar, Super Jodi, Urvashi Theatres and Star Magic. Shalu studied at BMS School and Vazhoor St. Paul’s, and MD Seminary, and earned a degree from Bacelious College, Kottayam. She lives in Kottayam. She is married to Melvin Philip since 2017, and they have a son named Alister Melvin. All TV serials mentioned are in Malayalam unless noted otherwise.
