Overview
Shahrdari Varamin VC is a professional volleyball team from Varamin, Iran. Founded in 2012, the club has gone through a few name changes and now competes in Iran’s top league, the Iranian Volleyball Super League. Home games are played at Golabbasi Arena in Varamin. Key leaders are Chairman Alireza Fadakar and Manager Mostafa Karkhaneh. The team’s captain is Mehdi Bazargard.

- 2012: Club started as Matin Varamin, founded by the Matin Engineering Company and joined Iran’s top league.
- 2012–13: Finished 2nd in the league and reached the final, which they lost to Kalleh Mazandaran.
- 2013–14: Finished 2nd again; won the Asian Club Championship, earning a spot in the World Club Championship.
- 2014 World Club Championship: Reached the later rounds but finished 5th overall.
- 2018–19: Won the Iranian Super League and then won the Asian Club Championship again (2019).
- 2019: Qualified for the Club World Championship but were barred by the FIVB; replaced by Al-Rayyan.
