Seth Burford (born March 11, 1979) is a former American football quarterback from Oakdale, California. He played high school football at Oakdale High School, then started his college career at Idaho State before transferring to Cal Poly after the 1998 season.

While at Cal Poly, Burford set a single-game record by throwing for 566 yards in a 43-41 loss to Northern Iowa on November 4, 2000. He was named the national Division I-AA Offensive Player of the Week by ESPN/USA Today two days later. Before the 2002 NFL draft, scouts praised his size, speed, and arm strength but were concerned about shoulder issues and accuracy.

Burford was drafted in the seventh round of the 2002 NFL draft by the San Diego Chargers (216th overall). He spent the 2002 season as the third quarterback behind Drew Brees and Doug Flutie and did not appear in a regular-season game. In 2003 he played for the Barcelona Dragons in NFL Europe, starting 10 games and throwing for 1,054 yards with eight touchdowns and three interceptions. He was released by the Chargers after the 2003 preseason.

In January 2004, Burford signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as a free agent but was released on June 28, 2004. His most notable preseason performance came on August 28, 2002, when he went 4-for-6 for 50 yards and added 10 rushing yards in a win over the San Francisco 49ers.
