Sergey Vasilyevich Abramov (born 29 January 1957 in Arzamas, USSR) is a Russian politician. He has been the chairman of the Magadan Oblast Duma since 28 September 2015. He previously served as the mayor of Magadan from February 2013 (acting) and then from June 2013 to September 2015.

Abramov studied at the Arzamas State Pedagogical Institute, graduating in 1982 as a chemistry and biology teacher, and later earned an economist-manager qualification from the Russian Academy of Public Administration. He began his career as a mechanic in 1974, served in the Soviet Army (1975–1977), and worked as a teacher in Magadan before moving into local government roles. He was Deputy Chairman of the Magadan City Council (1991–1994) and then Deputy Mayor (1997–2011). He joined United Russia in 2007 and helped organize Dmitry Medvedev’s regional reception. In 2011 he became First Deputy Mayor, then acting mayor in February 2013, and mayor in June 2013. In 2015 he was elected to the Magadan Oblast Duma and was chosen as its chairman.
