Lavars
Lavars is a small commune in southeastern France, in the Isère department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It is part of the Grenoble arrondissement and the Trièves intercommunality. The area covers 114.8 square kilometers and sits at elevations between 484 and 1,080 meters above sea level. As of 2023, about 172 people live there, giving a low population density of around 11.6 inhabitants per square kilometer. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Alexandre Eyraud-Griffet. The postal code is 38710 and the INSEE code is 38208.
