Presidential confirmation referendum in the United Arab Republic (now Egypt) was held on 15 March 1965. Gamal Abdel Nasser ran unopposed as the candidate of the Arab Socialist Union. Of 7,055,564 registered voters, turnout was 98.51%. Nasser received 6,950,098 votes (100.00%), with 65 votes against. He was president before and after the referendum.
