Sean Collins (ice hockey, born 1988)
Sean Collins is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward who plays center for Black Wings Linz in the ICEHL. He was drafted 187th overall in 2008 by the Columbus Blue Jackets. Collins played junior hockey with the Waywayseecappo Wolverines and college hockey at Cornell. He began his pro career in 2012 with the Springfield Falcons (AHL) and made his NHL debut for Columbus on February 18, 2013.
In 2015 he signed with the Washington Capitals. In 2016 he moved to the Kontinental Hockey League to play for Kunlun Red Star, where he scored 39 points in 60 games and helped the team reach the playoffs. He then joined HC Sochi for three seasons before returning to Kunlun Red Star in 2020 on a one-year deal. Collins has also played for Adler Mannheim (Germany), HPK (Finland), and HC Olten (Switzerland) during his career.
