Scooby-Doo! Adventures: The Mystery Map
Scooby-Doo! Adventures: The Mystery Map is a 2013 American puppet comedy mystery film, the 20th Scooby-Doo direct-to-video movie. It premiered on July 21, 2013 at San Diego Comic-Con and was released on July 23, 2013 as a digital download and Walmart-exclusive DVD, with a full DVD release on February 11, 2014. The puppets are based on the designs from A Pup Named Scooby-Doo.
The story starts with the Scooby gang in their tree house. Scooby finds a map hidden in a slice of pizza that supposedly leads to Gnarlybeard the Pirate’s treasure. The Phantom Parrot steals the map, and the gang chases after it, meeting Dr. Escobar and Shirley (whom Fred likes). They think the treasure is in a lighthouse and trap the Parrot, who turns out to be Stu Stukowski. He says Gnarlybeard is a distant relative and the treasure isn’t in the lighthouse. Back home, Scooby discovers a missing map piece he ate. They learn Gnarlybeard was Shirley in disguise, and the treasure is actually beard and hair care products. Shaggy and Scooby enjoy the products in the bathroom while Fred, Daphne, and Velma knock on the door.
