Koryŏsa chŏryo (Essentials of Koryŏ History) is an annalistic history of the Koryŏ (Goryeo) dynasty. It was compiled in the Joseon era, completed in 1452 under King Munjong, with Kim Chongsŏ supervising the work. The text is written in literary Chinese and presents events in strict chronological order rather than as biographies.

Unlike the contemporaneous Koryŏsa, which is written in a biographical style, Koryŏsa chŏryo includes materials not found in Koryŏsa and is written from the perspective of ministers and bureaucrats, sometimes offering evaluations of royal conduct. For this reason, it is considered one of the most important sources in pre-modern Korean historiography.

The Korean title is 고려사절요 (高麗史節要; Essentials of Koryŏ History). Part I has been translated into English by Sem Vermeersch and published in two volumes by Yonsei University Press. Part II, which covers the period from Uijong to Kojong, was translated into English in 2014 by Edward J. Shultz and Hugh H. W. Kang.
