Sbirri
Sbirri is a 2009 Italian crime drama directed by Roberto Burchielli. A journalist (Raoul Bova) learns his son Marco died of an Ecstasy overdose and, with his pregnant wife struggling, joins Milan’s anti-drug police to film their work. The movie blends fiction with real footage, with scenes shot during actual police operations alongside officers from Milan’s UOCD. The cast also includes Luca Angeletti, Simonetta Solder, and Alessandro Sperduti. It was released in Italy on April 10, 2009, runs 104 minutes, and is in Italian. Box office: €1.715 million.
