Basissletta is a small, ice-covered plain with a gentle slope between Pyramiden Nunatak and Stamnen Peak, near the southwest end of Ahlmann Ridge in Queen Maud Land, Antarctica. It was mapped by Norwegian cartographers from surveys and from air photos taken during the 1949–1952 Norwegian-British-Swedish Antarctic Expedition led by John Schjelderup Giæver. The name means “base plain.” Its coordinates are 72°17′S, 3°36′W.
