Aubrey Herring
Aubrey Herring (born September 19, 1978) is an American track and field hurdler. He was born in Oklahoma and moved to Indianapolis in 1994, finishing Warren Central High School in 1996. There he won the Indiana state title in the 110-meter hurdles and was runner-up in the 330-meter hurdles. He went on to Indiana State University, recruited as a 110-meter hurdler by coach John McNichols. Herring became a seven-time NCAA All-American and won the 60-meter hurdles indoor national title in 2001. He helped set a world-best time in the 4x120-yard shuttle hurdle relay (53.31 seconds) at the 2008 Penn Relays with David Oliver, Joel Brown, and Aries Merritt. In 2008 he set a personal best of 13.30 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles at the International Friendship and Freedom Games in Greensboro, North Carolina. As of January 2014, he lived and trained in Orlando, Florida, with Oliver and Brown under coach Brooks Johnson.
