Sanjay Rana
Sanjay Rana (born 5 May 2001) is an Indian field hockey defender from Dabra village near Hisar, Haryana. He plays for Hockey Haryana and, since 2024, for Kalinga Lancers. He has been part of the India national team since 2023, after playing for India U21 from 2017 to 2021. Rana is known as one of India’s second drag flickers and has helped the team win gold at the 2022 Asian Games and bronze at the 2024 Paris Olympics. He trained at the Chandigarh Hockey Academy from 2011 to 2017 and is an alumnus of Chandigarh University.
