Samoana ganymedes
Samoana ganymedes, also known as the Polynesian tree snail, is a tropical land snail that breathes air. It belongs to the family Partulidae. The species is endemic to the Marquesas Islands in French Polynesia, specifically Tahuata and Hiva Oa. Its conservation status is Data Deficient (IUCN 3.1). Scientific name: Samoana ganymedes (Pfeiffer, 1846).
