Epifanio Rodriguez
Chevalier Epifanio Rodriguez (1855 – 20 November 1912) was a Spanish first-class cricketer who played in England. Born in Andalucia, Spain, he moved to England and played for the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in 1900 against London County at Crystal Palace Park. In the match, he batted in both MCC innings, being dismissed for zero in the first and finishing not out on 1 in the second. He was nicknamed "the best cover-point in Spain" by cricket peers. Outside cricket, Rodriguez worked as a sherry shipper and commission agent and collected oriental porcelain, which was later sold at Christie's in 1914. He died in Westminster, London, in 1912 at age 57. In his only first-class appearance, he scored 1 run in total, with a batting average of 1.00.
