Run to the Stars
Run to the Stars is a science fiction novel by Michael Scott Rohan, published in 1982. The story follows a hero who must defeat Earth's corrupt government and escape. Critics praised it as a lively adventure. Dave Langford, in White Dwarf #40, said the book starts slowly but becomes a strong, exciting voyage with a surprising climax, noting his bias as a fan of Rohan and mentioning a fan letter from Ursula Le Guin for Rohan's first story. Dave Pringle, in Imagine, called it a classic escape-from-Earth plot with a muscular hero and a smart, attractive partner, delivered with energy and brio.
