Reception
Paul Pettengale reviewed Sages & Specialists for Arcane magazine and gave it 6 out of 10. He called the idea sound and useful for knowing what these character types can do, but doubted how often a referee would actually use the material, and suggested that a sage’s exact abilities should be flexible.
