IT Manager: Duels is a browser-based multiplayer strategy game by Intel. It is no longer available. In the game, you compete against another player to build and run a virtual IT department for a rival company. Each side develops its own IT setup with staff, hardware, projects, and events. On each turn you receive a small batch of assets and must expand your network to earn points. You gain points by using staff to deploy hardware and by completing projects. More advanced projects earn more points but need more hardware, and advanced hardware costs staff to deploy. You must plan strategically to keep your systems aligned with business needs and to withstand events from opponents, such as denial-of-service attacks or floods that threaten operations. The winner is the player with the most points after a set number of turns or after both players have used all 100 items. You can find opponents on the game's site and unlock new technologies as you play to earn career points. The previous game in the series was IT Manager III: Unseen Forces, which won several awards; IT Manager III has been replaced by IT Manager: Duels.
