Ryan Wiebe (born June 16, 2000) is a Canadian curler from Winnipeg, Manitoba. He currently plays third for Team Sam Mooibroek, based in Whitby, Ontario.

Wiebe’s junior career didn’t yield a provincial U18 or junior title, but he had notable results. In 2020, his team reached the semifinal of the Telus Junior Men’s Championship after a win in the A qualifier over Jason Gunnlaugson, though they lost to Brett Walter in the semifinal. That same season, his team with Carter Watkins, Sean Flatt, and Adam Flatt found success on the Manitoba Curling Tour, winning the MCT Championships and reaching three semifinals at other events.

The 2020–21 season was disrupted by the pandemic, but Wiebe’s team continued into 2021–22 with changes: Zack Bilawka joined as second, and Ty Dilello came in at third with Flatt returning to second. The team won the MCT Championships in November 2021 and earned a berth at the 2022 Viterra Championship. They went undefeated in the qualifying round, defeated Gunnlaugson in the qualifier, and reached the final four, where they beat Corey Chambers but lost a tight semifinal to Mike McEwen, finishing third.

In 2022–23, Wiebe’s team won the Mother Club Fall Curling Classic and reached the finals of the Mid-Canada Fasteners Classic and the MCT Championships. They qualified for the 2022 Tour Challenge Tier 2 Grand Slam but lost in the quarterfinals to Korey Dropkin. At the 2023 Viterra Championship, they went 3–0 in qualifying but were eliminated in the double knockout phase. They ended the season strong at the Best of the West U30 event, going undefeated until the final before losing to Karsten Sturmay, and climbed to 11th on the CTRS rankings.

For 2023–24, Wiebe’s team played in the PointsBet Invitational, beating John Epping before losing to Brad Gushue in the Elite 8, and reached the Tour Challenge Tier 2 quarterfinals, losing to Yusuke Morozumi. At the 2024 Viterra Championship, they were knocked out early but finished the season by winning the Best of the West.

In 2024–25, Wiebe joined the Ontario-based Sam Mooibroek rink as third, with Scott Mitchell at second and Nathan Steele at lead. They reached the semifinals of the Tour Challenge Tier 2 and lost the final of the Stu Sells 1824 Halifax Classic, then won the Stu Sells Brantford Nissan Classic in December. They went on to win the 2025 Ontario Tankard, going undefeated to claim the provincial title and earn a spot at the 2025 Montana’s Brier in Kelowna, where the team finished the round robin 4–4 and narrowly missed the playoffs.

The 2025–26 season saw them win the 2025 U25 NextGen Classic, earning a place in Curling Canada’s NextGen Program. They also competed in the Tier 2 Masters Grand Slam, losing in the quarterfinals to Kevin Koe. The team qualified for Curling Canada’s NextGen program and the 2025 Canadian Olympic Curling Pre-Trials, where they finished 3–4 in round robin play and placed sixth overall.

Wiebe also had success on the mixed side in 2024, captaining a team with Shaela Hayward, Ty Dilello and Jennifer Clark-Rouire to win the Manitoba mixed provincial championship. At the 2024 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship, they went 7–3 in round robin and pool play, reaching the playoffs before losing in the bronze medal game to Alberta and the semifinal to Nova Scotia, finishing fourth.

Away from the ice, Wiebe is an actuarial science student at the University of Manitoba.
