Ryan William Sylvester (born 20 April 1975 in Cardiff, Wales) is a Welsh cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman who bowls leg-breaks. He began his county career with Herefordshire in 1998, then played for Wales Minor Counties from 1999 to 2002, appearing in 21 Minor Counties Championship matches. He made 12 List A appearances for Wales Minor Counties between 1999 and 2002. In List A cricket, he scored 294 runs at an average of 29.40, with a top score of 73 and three fifties. Sylvester has also played for the Glamorgan and Gloucestershire Second XIs and later played club cricket for Sully Centurions in the South Wales Cricket League.
