Pedro Marchetta, born Jorge Pedro Marchetta on 13 April 1942 in Lomas de Zamora, Argentina, was an Argentine football player and manager. He played as a midfielder for Racing, Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata, Los Andes, Santiago Morning, Deportivo Quito, and Ever Ready, retiring at age 30. After studying bookkeeping, he briefly ran a hotel before becoming a coach.

As a manager, Marchetta was known as one of the most charismatic figures in Argentine football. He won his only title in 1985 with Rosario Central, the Primera B championship that earned the team promotion to the Primera División. He later managed many clubs, including Rosario Central (again), Racing, Belgrano, Independiente, Vélez Sarsfield, Talleres, and others, and also coached Barcelona SC in Ecuador.

In 2006 he suffered a stroke, which paused his coaching career. Marchetta died on 7 April 2022 in Villa Carlos Paz, Córdoba, at the age of 79, leaving behind lasting effects from the stroke.
